After being killed by a posse in 1934 Bonnie and Clyde are still together...well at least their guns still are, bought for $504,000 by the high bidder (a romantic?) at a recent auction.

Now that's what I call true, well, at least in the murderous, shoot 'em up sort of sense. I think the movies about the couple have romanticized their story...making even more money off the couple's murder spree.

Truth is though, sex and violence have always gone together like drugs and rock n roll. So it's easy to see why this crazy couple still captures the imaginations of the bloody romantic in 2012. I mean really, are these two any worse the vampire heroes and heroines who have a killed many in their recent past (Vampire Diaries and Twilight).

Bonnie and Clyde were the real life vampires of their time. They were all about the blood and money during the Depression-era when people were starving and homeless and jobless. They took what they needed to live their lives in the manner they wanted, committing 13 murders, kidnappings, bank robberies, car thefts...I wonder what they loved more: each other or blood and money?
